Kalpatharu Breweries and Distilleries Pvt Ltd was  formed in the year 2009 under the provisions of Companies Act by  the two brothers  Mr Kantappa Sahukar and Mr Sahukar Sathish babu. Before formation of the Company, we were partners of M/s. Chamundi Winery and Distillery with our elder brother Late Mr  Sahukar Channabasappa. After his demise , we have started a new Company in the name of M/s.Kalpatharu Breweries and Distilleries Pvt Ltd. Ever since then the company has started,  it has seen growth and has setup a new manufacturing unit recently. There are about 1000 employees in various cities like Bangalore, Bellary and Bellary suburbs.

 “Kalpatharu Breweries and Distilleries Pvt Ltd” has been a successful liquor company in South India. The manufacturing unit is located in the outskirts of Bangalore on Bangalore-Tumkur Highway. We basically manufacture IMFL products, which mean Indian Made Foreign Liquor.  Our IMFL bottling plant segment primarily includes molasses based whisky, rum, brandy, gin. This segment is dominated by whisky, which accounts for about 60% of its volumes, followed by brandy. Kalpatharu Breweries and distilleries manufactures its products under the close personal attention of our blenders. The latest blending, bottling and packing equipment and technologies are seamlessly combined with traditional blending methods to ensure consistent excellent taste, whether packaged in glass or pet bottles,, pouches and aseptic brick packs( tetra packs).

 

 Our Plant is located ideally suitable for IML bottling in 6 acres of land allotted by Karnataka Industrial Area Development Board, our location is well connected with Road and Rail.  Nidavanda Village Railway Station is located at about 100 meters distance away from our unit.  We own about 30 retail shops spread over Karnataka in Bengaluru Urban, Bengaluru Rural, Ramanagara, Bellary, Chitradurga, Davangere and Raichur Districts of Karnataka .

 

We are very much interested in bottling of other  products in our unit with mutual agreed terms

The Company is planning to expand its distribution to various cities in India. Over the last few years, our Company has started gaining popularity. Once the customer tastes the product, he or she will know the quality and craftsmanship that goes into every bottle of the product manufactured by us.

Kalpatharu breweries and distilleries products will be available in bars, and local markets. 

Mr Kantappa Sahukar, founder, chairman and managing director of Kalpatharu Breweries and Distilleries Pvt Ltd is a very influential businessman. He holds a degree in   Master of Arts and L.L.B. He has pursued his practice as an Advocate at the Karnataka High Court. Under certain circumstances, he volunteered to give up his practice in Law and show active involvement in business.

He has 30 years of experience as a Retailer, Whole-sellers and Manufacturer in liquor Industry having Units at Hubli and Dabaspet, Karnataka,India. He has worked hard since he was young and intelligently managed studies as well as  business since he was in 10th grade.

 

It is has been his dream to set up Kalpatharu Breweries and Distilleries and he is the core foundation of this Company  . He is the reason for the growth of the company.
